Overview

Niti Valley is the last inhabited valley before the Indo-Tibetan border in Chamoli district. Relatively untouched compared to neighboring valley systems, it is a haven of ancient Garhwali architecture, unique stone-carved houses, and pristine river gorges. Here, you'll see the 1,000-year-old rock paintings of Malari and visit Niti village, a stunning settlement nestled beneath dramatic peak systems.

This expedition is ideal for travelers who want to combine scenic high-altitude driving with authentic Himalayan anthropology, local homestays, and border security insights.
